It is my pleasure to connect with you. If you have gone through struggles with your special needs son or daughter, I feel your pain, as I have gone through a similar struggle with my daughter. I remember leaving my job to care for her . Two nights per week, I would attend Seminary classes and there, as I shared my struggle, I learned about setting up a community Newsletter titled, The Christian Connection and later founded Christian Resource Network. Inc a non-profit organization. We started with support groups, prayer groups and breakfast conferences to create awareness for parents like you and I who needed support. For the past twenty-five years, I have felt that the people who really needed the help are our sons and daughters. I have felt the need to start a cultural program for young women which will incorporate self-esteem classes, arts and culture, Life-skills Training, Vocational Training and Basic Education.
