In every life there is a purpose because God created you and me for a purpose, and he created your adult child for a purpose. We also know that God has given each of us time here on this earth. We also are commanded to love and be patient with others, even our own adult special-needs children.
God is love, and we are supposed to imitate God and love our neighbors as God loves us, and as we love ourselves. Love is a selfless and unconditional commitment to care for, uplift, and support others including our own children. We may be the only ones to whom they look for love.
We are also supposed to show patience towards them. Patience is the ability to endure difficulties, delays, or challenges without getting frustrated or angry. Regard patience as an opportunity to be led by the Spirit of God as you deal with your adult child. At the end of the day, you can say with surety that God guided you, helped you, and blessed you, and with God, all things are possible.
