Have you ever thought of getting your special son or daughter involved in some way? As parents, we can create events for our families to get to know one another. Our adult children would benefit by receiving the support.
When my children were very young, they participated in swimming meets; I met other parents, and we became a supportive community.
I have been thinking about ways that my adult daughter can be involved and make friends. Maybe if parents could come together for an evening out, our adult children could meet up and get to know one another.
