I have tried so many things to help my special needs daughter. Sometimes, neck massaging helps her to be calm, talking to her and telling her how God loves her, allowing her to listen to my videos, and a list of other things. Only God knows. She continues to be resistant. I believe that God is testing my faith and the evil one is waiting for me to give up. I simply cannot give up because God did not give up on me; He has been patient with me throughout my entire life. I have come a long way -wanting my own way and being impatient with God. I believe that when we go through tests, God is working on us to bring about his will in our lives. What should we do while we wait?
We should pray and fast while giving the issues to God. He invites us to the table with Him and tells us why we should come to Him in Matt 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” In these verses, God knows that we are weary and burdened and we need rest. We give him our burdens, and we take his yoke upon us (a yoke helps us to carry the load) to do his will. What better way to release the burdens we face but to give them to God? God sent His Son to pay our sin debt in full and by His stripes we have been justified of sin.
