As a mother, I know how you feel. You feel happy when your children are happy and you feel sad when they are sad. Regardless of how young or old your children are, you feel a strong connection to them because you brought them into the world and nurtured them. You love your children regardless of their faults and you believe by faith, that they are overcomers. You are exceptional because God chose you to be the model for your children.
You model Jesus, who loves you and died for you, and who has forgiven you of all your sins the day that you submitted your entire life to Him. Since that day, He has kept you safe as His daughter, has been your guide, your comforter, your strength, your peace, and your provider. He picked you up at the time that you were low in spirit, placed your feet on solid ground, and established you. I join you in giving thanks to our Master who continues to connect with us, love us and cover us; without Him, we can do nothing.
